Lead Reliability Analyst
About the Role:We are seeking a seasoned expert to spearhead our reliability engineering efforts and drive continuous improvement initiatives. As a Lead Reliability Analyst, you will serve as the subject matter expert in condition monitoring (CM) technologies, providing technical leadership and guidance to the reliability team.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead and mentor a team of reliability analysts, guiding them on best practices, methodologies, and skills development.
- Develop comprehensive CM programs tailored to our organization's specific needs and equipment assets.
- Utilize advanced nondestructive testing techniques and tools to assess critical components across multiple CM areas.
- Interpret data from various sources, including vibration analysis, thermography, ultrasonic testing, and more, to identify trends, anomalies, and potential failures.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to prioritize maintenance activities, optimize asset performance, and minimize unplanned downtime.
- Conduct root cause analyses to identify factors contributing to equipment failures and develop effective mitigation strategies.
- Drive RCM initiatives, developing preventive and predictive maintenance strategies to enhance asset reliability and longevity.
- Stay up-to-date with industry advancements, emerging technologies, and best practices in reliability engineering to improve processes and methodologies.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, Applied Sciences, or related field experience preferred.
- American Society for Nondestructive Testing (ASNT) Level 2 certification or equivalent in CM area of specialty.
- International Organization for Standardization (ISO) Category 3 certification preferred.
- ASNT Level 1 certification or equivalent in at least one other secondary CM technology.
- Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in condition monitoring, reliability engineering, or related field.
- Proficiency in utilizing CM tools, software, and data analysis techniques.
- Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate team members towards common goals.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a data-driven approach to decision-making.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
The base salary range for this position is $90,000 to $150,000. This role may also be eligible for a wide range of competitive benefits, including medical, well-being, financial planning, and short-term incentives benefits.
Work Environment:This is a standard office environment with occasional and/or light lifting required. Limited exposure to elements such as heat, cold, noise, dust, dirt, chemicals, etc., but none to the point of being disagreeable. May involve minor safety hazards where likely result would be cuts, bruises, etc.
