Customer Relations Specialist Job Description

At RISE INC FAMILY, we are seeking a highly skilled Customer Relations Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our customer service team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our clients, coworkers, and visitors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide excellent customer service through phone, email, and in-person interactions.
  • Analyze and resolve customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
  • Process incoming and outgoing paperwork and electronic communication with high accuracy.
  • Ensure all incoming paperwork and communication is processed in accordance with company, Medicaid, state, and program guidelines.
  • Use strategic thinking to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Handle conflict and difficult customers in a professional and respectful manner.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent, and some college courses or degree preferred.
  • At least 2 years of experience in Customer Service.
  • Proficient with 10-key by touch and type a minimum of 45 wpm with high degree of accuracy.
  • Ability to work well with numbers and maintain confidentiality.
  • Valid Drivers License and able to lift and transport mail to post office daily.
  • Advanced computer skills, including but not limited to: compose an email, attach documents to an email, manipulate various types of documents.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Able to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Able to multi-task and meet all assigned deadlines in a rapidly changing environment.
