Job Summary

This position requires a highly skilled Aircraft Maintenance Specialist to work on MQ-9 aircraft and associated equipment. The successful candidate will have a strong background in aircraft maintenance and be able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on MQ-9 aircraft and associated equipment
  • Direct and assist in the inspection, troubleshooting, and operations of communications equipment
  • Schedule satellite communications airtime and coordinate link activation with Department of Defense and civilian agencies
  • Assemble, connect, secure, and interconnect components such as transmitters, power supplies, and antenna assemblies
  • Monitor and de-conflict transmit/receive signals to ensure optimum performance and prevent interference with other satellite users
  • Install network technical solutions for real-time video dissemination via Remote Split Operations architecture
  • Enforce and adhere to technical data and management procedures
  • Ensure aircraft and equipment forms and Maintenance Information System documentation is complete, accurate, and accomplished
Requirements
  • Ability to obtain a Secret security clearance
  • At least four (4) years experience in aircraft maintenance
  • Desired one (1) year experience on MQ-1 and/or MQ-9 aircraft
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Knowledge of applicable maintenance directives listed in Air Force Instruction
  • Possess the ability to cultivate relations and building partnerships at all levels within LMCO
  • Demonstrated ability for problem solving and prioritizing multiple projects
Working Conditions

This position requires a non-standard 40 hour work week as assigned by leader. Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees.
