Mavis Tire Supply is a leading provider of automotive services and tire sales, with over 2,000 retail locations across the United States.
We are seeking highly skilled Master Automotive Technicians to join our team at one of our state-of-the-art service centers in the Richmond, VA area.
Job Overview
This is an active position that requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, climbing, pulling, reaching, and performing repeated and repetitive movements consistent with vehicle maintenance and repair. Mechanics must regularly lift and/or move items weighing over 50 pounds.
Key Responsibilities
- Inspect, diagnose, and perform a wide variety of automotive services on customers' vehicles, including brakes, struts and shocks.
- Complete state-mandated inspections, change oil and filters, check fluids, replace worn parts, and dismount, mount, rotate and balance tires.
Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age.
- Be legally authorized to work in the United States.
- Possess 2 years of experience and/or training in automotive repair and maintenance or any combination of education, training and experience which demonstrates the ability to perform the duties and responsibilities of the position.
- Possess an extensive tool box of personal tools used in performing undercar repairs.
- A state inspection license(s) is preferred.
- ASE Certifications in Automotive Maintenance and Light Repair (G1), Suspension and Steering (A4), and Brakes (A5) are also preferred.

Estimated Salary: $45,000 - $60,000 per year based on experience and qualifications.
