VP of Sales

At DrBalcony, we're seeking a seasoned VP of Sales to spearhead our sales strategy and drive revenue growth. As a key member of our leadership team, you'll be responsible for architecting and executing a comprehensive sales strategy that aligns with our company goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Strategy & Execution: Design and implement a scalable sales process with clearly defined steps and KPIs, establish daily monitoring and reporting systems to track leads, conversions, and pipeline progress, and develop funnels and implement engineering-driven sales procedures to ensure consistent performance.
- Team Leadership & Development: Oversee and review the sales team's daily tasks and project outcomes, ensuring alignment with company goals, provide mentorship, guidance, and development plans for the sales team to improve performance, and collaborate with the HR department to recruit, onboard, and retain top sales talent as the team grows.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing team to ensure alignment on lead generation, content, and campaigns, ensure that marketing-to-sales handoffs are seamless and trackable, and collaborate with product and finance teams to ensure accurate forecasting and sales-target alignment.
- Revenue Growth & Targets: Set and track monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets, ensure the company meets or exceeds revenue goals through effective sales planning, pipeline management, and forecasting, and implement performance tracking tools to ensure accountability and transparency in hitting numbers.
- Process Optimization: Analyze daily, weekly, and monthly sales performance, identifying areas for improvement, continuously improve sales processes, tools, and techniques to increase efficiency and effectiveness, and integrate sales automation tools and CRM systems to optimize lead conversion rates and sales cycles.
- Reporting & KPIs: Create and manage detailed reports on sales performance, conversion rates, and other key metrics, provide the executive team with regular updates on sales progress and forecasts, and define and monitor KPIs to ensure the sales team is meeting company objectives.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a senior sales leadership role, ideally within a fast-paced tech startup environment.
- Strong background in sales engineering and process design, with the ability to implement and refine data-driven sales strategies.
- Demonstrated success in building and managing high-performing sales teams.
- Deep understanding of CRM and sales automation tools to optimize lead conversion.
- Ability to work closely with marketing, product, and finance teams to align goals and drive company growth.
- Strong analytical skills and experience using data to guide decisions.
