Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at Springboard Hospitality. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for maintaining the hotel's assets, ensuring that all mechanical systems are operating efficiently, and providing exceptional service to our guests.

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on hotel equipment, including kitchen, laundry, boiler, plumbing, pool, HVAC, electrical, and guest rooms.
  • Respond to guest requests in a courteous and efficient manner.
  • Conduct preventative maintenance checks and repairs to ensure the hotel's assets are in optimal working condition.
  • Maintain inventory and order supplies as needed.
  • Assist in the maintenance and cleaning of pool and spas.
  • Handle master sets of keys and ensure the security of the hotel.
  • Respond to emergency situations, including fire alarms, bomb threats, and power failures.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in building maintenance, preferably in a hotel or hospitality setting.
  • Special skills and experience in a construction trade, such as plumbing, electrical, carpentry, or HVAC.
  • Advanced knowledge of computer software, including Microsoft Office and web analytics tools.
  • High school diploma or GED required; college degree preferred.
