We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Math Education Specialist to join our team at Sylvan Learning Center. As a Math Education Specialist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality math education to students of all ages. Your primary focus will be on helping high school students with their math homework, but you may also work with late-elementary and middle school students using our pre-built curriculums.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver math education to students in a small group setting, with no more than 3 students per teacher.
Use pre-planned lessons that are easy to manage and fun to teach.
Motivate and connect with each student to inspire a love for learning.
Work with students of all ages, from late-elementary to high school.
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in math or a related field.
Prove your math skills by taking a test that covers Algebra through Pre-Calculus.
Enjoy teaching and working with students.
Be punctual and have reliable transportation.
Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
