Job Summary:

The Facilities Attendant provides upkeep services for assigned areas. This role is ideal for individuals entering the workforce or returning to it with limited experience and education.

Compensation:

$18.65 per hour (hourly rate may vary based on applicant's experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, and market data).

Responsibilities:

  1. Clean and maintain buildings/facilities
  2. Follow procedures for chemical cleaners and power equipment use to prevent damage
  3. Notify Manager of minor or major repairs or additions needs
  4. Maintain effective communication with clients, co-workers, shift coordinators, supervisors, managers, etc.
  5. Comply with safety, security, compliance, and quality standards
  6. Clean furniture, fixtures, floors, ceilings, walls, machines, and equipment
  7. Move furniture and equipment to clean areas
  8. Clean interior partition glass, windows, glass partitions, and mirrors
  9. Wash and replace blinds
  10. Gather and empty trash
  11. Sweep walks, rake leaves, cut grass, remove snow, or perform other incidental seasonal tasks
  12. Clean food area tabletops, chairs, and equipment
  13. Service, clean, and supply restrooms

Requirements:

  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • No experience required; on-the-job training provided
  • No high school diploma, GED, or college degree required
  • Preferred: customer service experience and 1 year of similar work experience
