A leading dental organization, Affinity Dental Management, seeks a skilled Dental Hygienist to join its team at Western Mass Periodontics in Great Barrington, MA. With a focus on periodontal care and patient satisfaction, this role offers a chance to contribute significantly to the success of our patients.

About the Role:

  • We are looking for an enthusiastic and skilled hygienist with experience in periodontal treatments and preventive care.
  • The ideal candidate will have a strong background in scaling and root planing (SRP) and be proficient in oral hygiene education.
  • This is a 4-day per week position, Tuesday through Friday, with a competitive hourly rate of $43-50/hour.

Responsibilities:

  • Welcome and seat patients professionally.
  • Prepare treatment rooms for hygiene procedures.
  • Update patient health history and provide personalized oral hygiene education.
  • Perform scaling, root planing, and fluoride applications.
  • Identify periodontal issues and facilitate dentist recommendations.
  • Educate patients on proper oral hygiene and preventive measures.

Requirements:

  • Associate degree or higher from an ADA-accredited program.
  • MA state dental hygiene license.
  • CPR certification.
  • Preferred: 1-year dental experience, anesthesia certification, and SRP proficiency.
