Professional Occupational Therapist Role

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled PRN Occupational Therapist to join our team at Resilient Healthcare. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, recovering, or maintaining the daily living and work skills of individuals with physical, mental, or developmental conditions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Client-Centered Services: Provide effective services that enable individuals to confidently and independently perform everyday tasks and activities.
- Tailored Interventions: Select and adapt occupational therapy treatment models, methods, and approaches to meet individual needs and circumstances.
- Safety and Performance: Apply interventions to maximize safety and performance in activities of daily living (ADL) and instrumental activities of daily living (IADL).
- Education and Training: Teach clients new ways of approaching tasks, educate on breaking down activities into achievable components, and recommend adaptive equipment.
- Assessment and Guidance: Assess client environments and advise on alterations consistent with their needs and capabilities; guide and educate family members and caregivers.
- Progress Monitoring: Observe, note, and report on progress of long- and short-term treatment goals; collect data and document processes followed.
- Ongoing Support: Regularly follow-up with clients to ensure optimal outcomes.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven working experience as an occupational therapist.
- Excellent knowledge of principles and practices of occupational therapy.
- Hands-on experience with computer programs and creative media.
- Familiarity with ADLs evaluation tools (e.g., Katz ADL scale, Lawton IADL scale).
- Ability to manage patients with different types of personalities.
- Current knowledge of treatment practices per discipline and drive to continually learn and grow in the profession.
- Professional behavior.
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
- Valid license to practice occupational therapy.
- BS degree or greater in occupational therapy.
Compensation and Benefits:
The estimated salary for this position is $80,000 - $110,000 per year, commensurate with experience. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) matching, and paid time off.
