About the role: Distribution Center Operations Manager

Key Responsibilities:

  • Direct production activities for multiple departments, work centers, and processes on an assigned shift.
  • Lead and mentor production Supervisors to achieve overall performance goals for production, cost, quality, and safety.
  • Coordinate production activities through planning with departmental Supervisors, Schedulers, HR Managers, and Quality Systems Trainers to ensure distribution objectives are accomplished in a timely and cost-effective manner.

Requirements:

  • Associate Degree in Business or related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • 5 years' experience in production leadership or related area.
  • Supervisory/Management experience.
  • Management of resources to optimize equipment, facilities, employees, methods, and materials.
  • Lean and Continuous Quality Improvement principles.
  • System improvement methods and capacity planning and product flow.
