Senior Procurement Specialist

We are seeking a motivated professional to join our Supply Chain team as a Senior Procurement Specialist for Packaging and Ingredients. As part of this role, you will be responsible for purchasing packaging, ingredients & operating supplies associated with our business requirements following established purchasing policies.

**Salary:** $65,000 - $85,000 per year

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree from an accredited four-year college or university, or equivalent combination of education and experience. A Certified Professional in Supply Management (C.P.M.) or APICS certification is preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Purchasing packaging, ingredients & operating supplies associated with our business requirements following established purchasing policies.
  • Omitizing price, delivery and terms in accordance with all policies.
  • Managing the day-to-day needs of a Product Line used at multiple facilities.
  • Controlling and follow-up on the redundant and obsolete materials.

**Job Requirements:**

  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited four-year college or university, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Certified Professional in Supply Management (C.P.M.) or APICS certification is preferred.
  • Capable of communicating and expressing ideas clearly and concisely, in both written and verbal formats.
  • Planning, organization and execution skills.
  • Strong negotiation skills.

**Work Environment:**

The majority of the time is spent in an office setting outside of the production plant. The plant environment will include wet or humid conditions, extreme cold and heat, working near moving mechanical parts, exposure to fumes or airborne particles, and chemicals.
