Job Summary:

MercyFirst is seeking a skilled Medical Provider to join our team. As a Medical Provider, you will be responsible for providing well-child and sick visit assessments, ordering appropriate interventions, and prescribing medication and treatment as indicated. You will also create and collaborate in creating comprehensive treatment plans for youth, update treatment plans as required, and analyze test data to determine the need for follow-up appointments and further treatment options.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide well-child and sick visit assessments
  • Order appropriate interventions, including laboratory and radiologic diagnostics testing
  • Prescribe medication and treatment as indicated
  • Create and collaborate in creating comprehensive treatment plans for youth
  • Update treatment plans as required
  • Analyze test data to determine the need for follow-up appointments and further treatment options

Requirements:
  • NYS Licensure as Nurse Practitioner, Physician's Assistant, or Medical Doctor
  • DEA License
  • Experience in pediatrics and/or adolescent medicine strongly preferred
  • A valid NYS Driver's License with a satisfactory driving record
  • 5+ years medical provider experience with children and/or adolescents
