Job Description

We are seeking a Personal Care Assistant to provide individualized support to adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities at the Trudeau Memorial Center. As a Personal Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in enhancing the lives of our clients and promoting their independence.

Estimated Salary: $45,000 - $65,000 per year.

About the Position

This role involves providing daily support to individuals in their homes and communities. You will assist with daily living skills, participate in skill-building programs, and advocate for the well-being of our clients. Additionally, you will be required to complete agency-required trainings, including Safety Care and CPR.

Responsibilities

* Provide one-on-one support to adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities
* Assist individuals with daily activities and routines
* Participate in various skill-building programs and recreational activities
* Advocate for and enhance the lives of the individuals supported
* Attend and complete agency-required trainings including Safety Care and CPR

Requirements

* High School Diploma or GED
* Valid driver's license and automobile insurance
* Safe driving record
* Access to a personal vehicle for transportation needs
* Successful completion of pre-employment physical
