Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Psychiatric Technician to join our team at Brookwood Baptist Medical Center. As a key member of our Behavioral Health unit, you will play a vital role in maintaining a therapeutic environment and providing exceptional care to patients.

Responsibilities:

- Facilitate daily living activities and establish a strong therapeutic relationship with assigned patients
- Take vital signs, weigh patients, and collect routine specimens as needed
- Participate in group therapy, in-service education, and staff meetings to enhance knowledge and skills

Requirements:

- Minimum 60 hours of human services, psychology, education, sociology, or related field
- 1 year of experience in a healthcare setting
- CPR certification required

Compensation:

This full-time position offers an attractive salary range of $45,000 - $55,000 per annum, depending on experience. Additionally, eligible candidates may be entitled to a sign-on bonus of up to $3,000.
