Job Description

This position is located in Melbourne, FL and requires a highly motivated individual with expertise in electro-mechanical design. The selected candidate will be responsible for designing and developing wiring harness/cable assembly installations into air vehicles for multiple aerospace programs.

The ideal candidate should thrive in a fast-paced work environment with high expectations, diverse assignments, and collaborative/team settings across all levels.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop wiring harness/cable assembly installations into air vehicles for multiple aerospace programs.
  • Collaborate with inter-departmental vehicle sub-system departments including aircraft structure, equipment installation, hydraulics, environmental control systems, and manufacturing teams.
  • Facilitating design reviews with key stakeholders to ensure designs meet requirements.
  • Attending internal program, customer and/or supplier technical exchange meetings and/or formal program milestone reviews to provide and/or obtain progress status updates.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

The basic qualifications of the Electro-Mechanical Design Engineer are a Bachelor of Science degree in a STEM discipline AND 2 years of engineering experience.

The basic qualifications of the Principal Electro-Mechanical Design Engineer are a Bachelor of Science degree in a STEM discipline AND 5 years of engineering experience, OR Master's degree AND 3 years of engineering experience.

Your ability to obtain and/or transfer and maintain the final adjudicated government secret clearance, and any program access(es) required for the position within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company.

Experience in a 3D design tool such as NX, Catia V5, or ProE.

Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary range for this position is $77,200 - $115,800 per year.

In addition to your base salary, you may be eligible for a discretionary bonus, as well as other benefits, including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
