Overview

K.A. Recruiting, Inc. is seeking an experienced Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner to join our team in Boston, MA.

Salary

The salary for this position is approximately $110,000 per year, offering a very competitive compensation package.

Job Description

This role involves working as an outpatient psychiatrist in a busy clinic setting. You will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, assessing and diagnosing mental health conditions, and developing treatment plans.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Masters degree in nursing required.
  • Completion of an accredited educational program for nurse practitioners required.
  • Current license to practice as a registered nurse in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts with authorization by the Board of Registration in Nursing to practice in an expanded role required.
  • Must be registered with the ANCC or other accrediting organization for Nurse Practitioners.
  • Must be registered with the State of Massachusetts and DEA for prescription writing privileges.
  • Current BLS Certifications required.
  • Minimum of two years of clinical nursing (registered nurse) experience in a behavioral health setting required, with preference for at least one year of psychiatric nurse practitioner experience and/or experience in substance use disorder treatment.
