Credit Portfolio Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Credit and Collection Specialist to join our team at MORSCO SUPPLY LLC. As a key member of our accounts receivable team, you will be responsible for managing our credit portfolio, ensuring timely payments, and maintaining strong relationships with our customers.
Key Responsibilities- Analyze customer information and credit services to make informed decisions
- Approve credit limits within assigned authority, balancing risk and revenue
- Monitor aging accounts and take proactive steps to prevent delinquencies
- Perform collection calls and communicate with customers to resolve disputes
- Process lien waivers and ensure compliance with state and federal laws
- Reconcile short pays and unapplied cash on branch accounts
- Collaborate with regional and branch teams to resolve collection matters
- 4-year college degree in business, accounting, or finance, or prior business-to-business collections experience
- Prior collection experience, distribution, wholesale, or manufacturing experience preferred
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
