Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled CNC Engineer to join our team at Conn Selmer Inc. The ideal candidate will have experience in CNC programming, machining, and troubleshooting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop tool path logic and CNC programming for various CNC machine tools.
  • Create machining processes required to produce components and instruments.
  • Maintain required documentation systems, including SOPs and work instructions.
  • Develop tooling requirements and implement best practices.

Requirements:

  • 5 years of CNC programming experience with emphasis on machining and troubleshooting.
  • Minimum 2-year college education with emphasis in CNC programming.
  • 1 to 2 years of CAD experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong root cause/corrective action analysis capabilities.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with an emphasis on working in a team environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Planning and organizational skills.
  • Basic supervisory skills.
  • Knowledge of various 3+ axis mill and lathe machines.
  • Ability to lift 20 lbs.
  • Requires periods of sedentary work as well as time spent in the manufacturing environment.
  • Requires repetitive upper body movement – keyboard and monitor use.
