Auto Body Technician

At Mike Bass Ford, we are seeking an experienced and skilled Auto Body Technician to join our team in Sheffield Village, Ohio. This is a full-time flat rate position that involves performing collision repairs on vehicles according to manufacturer specifications.

The estimated salary for this role is $40,000 to $60,000 per year, paid weekly. In addition to the compensation, we offer a comprehensive benefits package including health insurance, dental coverage, paid time off, and a 401k plan.

• Perform body repairs, including dent removal, welding, and panel replacement, according to manufacturer specifications.
• Repair or replace damaged body parts, such as doors, fenders, bumpers, and hoods.
• Prepare vehicles for paint by sanding, priming, and masking.
• Repair or replace mechanical and electrical components related to body repairs, such as lights, mirrors, and windows.
• Communicate with employees to explain repairs and provide estimates.
• Maintain accurate records of all work performed and parts used.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Adhere to all safety regulations and guidelines.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a body shop technician.
• Must be able to read and interpret repair manuals and specifications.
• Strong knowledge of body repair techniques, including welding.
• Ability to operate and maintain various tools and equipment.
• Detail-oriented with excellent time management skills.
• Team player with good communication and customer service skills.
• Must hold a valid driver's license.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods of time.
