About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled NICU Registered Nurse RN PRN to join our team at Henrico Doctors Hospital Forest. As a member of our neonatal intensive care unit, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting the health and well-being of our patients and their families.

Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality, patient-centered care to neonates and infants in the NICU, including assessments, interventions, and education to families.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans that address the unique needs of each patient.
  • Recognize and respond promptly to changes in patient condition, including emergency situations, and provide appropriate interventions to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination and patient satisfaction.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing (BSN preferred)
  • Current Registered Nurse license in Virginia or a compact license
  • Current BLS certification
  • At least one year of NICU RN experience preferred
