Job Summary

The Registered Nurse position in our Women's and Children's Services department is a rewarding opportunity to make a difference in the lives of obstetric and pediatric patients.

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate RN to join our team. As a key member of our care team, you will provide exceptional nursing care to patients, develop and implement individualized care plans, and educate patients and caregivers on treatment options and health-related information.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement patient-centered care plans in collaboration with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
  • Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing diagnostic tests, and maintaining accurate records.
  • Educate patients and caregivers on health-related topics, including medication side effects, treatment options, and discharge instructions.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care transitions.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current on best practices and advancements in women's and children's health.
Requirements
  • Graduation from an accredited school of nursing required; BSN preferred.
  • Prior nursing experience preferred.
  • Ability to obtain a valid Vermont State Registered Nurse license by date of employment required.
  • Current Health Care Provider (BLS) certification required.
What We Offer
  • A competitive salary of $73,000 per year.
  • Nights differential of $7.00 more per hour and $9.00 more per hour on weekends.
  • Rotating weekends and holidays, with on-call requirements.
