Job Summary
We are seeking dedicated Substitute Teachers to ensure students continue to receive high-quality instruction in the absence of their regular teachers. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about education and looking to make a meaningful impact.
Key Responsibilities:
- Instructional Delivery: Implement lesson plans, engaging students and meeting classroom objectives.
- Classroom Management: Maintain a positive, structured classroom environment, following the school's policies and procedures.
- Student Engagement: Build positive relationships, encouraging participation and supporting academic and social development.
- Adaptability: Manage different classroom environments, including various grade levels and subjects, as assigned.
- Professionalism: Exhibit professionalism at all times, including punctuality, reliability, and effective communication.
Requirements
- Minimum of a high school diploma or GED; Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Previous teaching or substitute teaching experience is preferred but not required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to manage a classroom effectively.
- Successful completion of State and Federal Criminal Background Check.
- A sense of humility, customer service mindset, and a personal affinity to our values.
Additional Information
This is an hourly role at a competitive rate.
