Job Summary:

As a Rooftop Food Runner at LiLLiStar, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional dining experiences to our Guests. You will be responsible for communicating effectively with the FOH and BOH teams to ensure timely and accurate food delivery. Your friendly and professional demeanor will make a significant difference in our Guests' experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare for service by setting up bread and butter service, condiments, napkins, plate wipes, plates, glassware, and utensils.
  • Follow expeditor instructions and assist with proper table coursing.
  • Communicate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service.
  • Stay updated on current menu choices, menu additions, and unavailable items.
  • Deliver each order according to the restaurant's and Guest's specifications.
  • Communicate modifications and allergens as necessary.
  • Communicate clearly with servers and managers about additional orders or needs.
  • Serve water to Guests and refill beverage glasses as needed.
  • Place and replace silverware as needed.
  • Answer Guest questions about food or how to eat.
  • Remove Guests' dirty dishes and utensils.
  • Deliver used dishes and utensils to the kitchen for cleaning.
  • Assist with special events as needed.
  • Adhere to grooming and appearance standards consistently.
  • Promptly address Guest service issues and refer to management when necessary.
Requirements:
  • Previous restaurant experience required.
  • Physically able to carry 35 pounds; able to stand, bend, and move throughout shift.
  • Works well as part of a team and on individual tasks.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills.
  • Works well and efficiently under pressure.
  • Good interpersonal skills and communication with all levels of staff and management.
