Job Description:

Frontier Strategies seeks a highly skilled Biomedical Equipment Technician with advanced knowledge of IT to join our team. This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires a strong understanding of biomedical equipment technologies, devices, instruments, and systems, as well as advanced IT skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Independently repair, calibrate, and maintain all types of clinical equipment technologies, devices, instruments, and systems of moderate complexity.
  • Inspect, install, repair, prepare for disposition, and provide SPM of MDE.
  • Perform DoD cyber-security and troubleshoot basic network performance.
  • Develop and maintain less complex systems, applications, security, and network configurations.
  • Recommends software and hardware upgrades, patches, and new applications on MDE and related information systems.
  • Provides MDE and information technology technical support and guidance to users.
  • BUILDs and manages system development lifecycle (i.e., Certificate of Net worthiness, Risk Management Framework [RMF]) for MDE that require network certification and/or accreditation.

Requirements:

  • Graduate of a military BMET Course or a higher education degree from an accredited college in BMET or Engineering with additional coursework in IT.
  • 4 years relevant experience in the repair and maintenance of MDE and IT systems.
  • Must have DoD Information Assurance Technician (IAT) Level II Certification (DoDI 8140).

Compensation:

We offer a competitive salary of $85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience, plus a comprehensive benefits package.
