Exceptional Pediatric Emergency Care at Williamson Health

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Pediatric Emergency Department Nurse to join our team at Monroe Carell Junior Children's Hospital Vanderbilt at Williamson Medical Center. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in providing world-class emergency care to children facing acute illnesses or injuries.

About the Role:

  • Assess and prioritize care for pediatric patients with acute conditions, implementing life-saving interventions as needed
  • Collaborate closely with board-certified pediatric emergency room physicians, paramedics, respiratory therapists, and child life specialists to provide excellent care
  • Provide family-centered care, explaining treatment plans and procedures to patients and their families
  • Maintain hospital and unit-specific competencies, staying up-to-date with the latest best practices and technologies

Requirements:

  • At least 1 year of pediatric emergency experience preferred
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification required within 6 months of hire
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (ENPC) certifications also required

Estimated Salary: $65,000 - $80,000 per annum, depending on experience
