Air Methods is a leading air medical transport service provider seeking experienced rotor wing pilots to join our team in Harris, NY.
Salary: $82,900 per year, commensurate with flight and EMS experience.
About the Job
We are looking for highly skilled pilots to operate our EC130 aircraft in a safe and legal manner. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of Federal Aviation Regulations (FAR), Aeronautical Information Manual (AIM) guidelines, and thorough knowledge of Air Methods policies and procedures.
Responsibilities
- Operate aircraft in a safe and legal manner.
- Complete pre-flight checks before every flight.
- Maintain positive interpersonal relationships with colleagues, EMS representatives, hospitals, and the public.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will have an Associate's degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school, two to five years related experience, and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Pilots must have flown in category for a commercial operator or in the military within the previous 24 months. Additionally, they must meet Visual Flight Rules (VFR) Program requirements.
