Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our Residential Services Program at Little Friends. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for coordinating and monitoring the health and medical support services for individuals with developmental disabilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and monitor health and medical support services for individuals with developmental disabilities
  • Ensure adherence to state regulations and Little Friends' standards and practices
  • Coordinate staff training on medical and medication needs
  • Report to and accomplish additional duties assigned by the RN Program Director
Requirements
  • Current Licensed Registered Nurse
  • Valid Illinois Driver's License and insurance
  • At least 21 years of age
  • 1+ years of experience as a nurse
  • Certified DHS nurse trainer or able to complete training
  • Preferred: 1+ years of experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities in a CILA
  • Preferred: Knowledge of IDPH, DHS, DCFS, public health survey process/regulations, Medicaid, and ICF/DD residential care facilities
