Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Construction Project Estimator to join our team at Hotel Rehabs. As a key member of our estimating and pre-construction team, you will be responsible for ensuring all details are properly uncovered during the estimating phase to ensure a profitable project while maintaining a competitive bid for the client.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Compile initial budgets and rough order of magnitudes (ROM) for clients
  • Compile hard/competitive bid estimates for clients
  • Contribute to FF&E budgets, obtaining quotes and take-offs from the internal purchasing team
  • Contribute to the estimating pipeline for all projects including the bid calendar
  • Take part in regular meetings with new and existing clients
  • Active involvement in owner contracts, scope of works, and project schedules

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in AEC program, finance, business management, project management or similar program disciplines with demonstrated analytical and business focus
  • 2-3 years of working in an estimating capacity in fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • General Contractor or Subcontractor experience is highly preferred
  • Previous experience in hotel construction and/or tenant improvement estimating preferred
