Extravehicular Activity and Human Surface Mobility Systems Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Extravehicular Activity and Human Surface Mobility Systems Engineer to join our team at Barrios Technology. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing space systems for extravehicular activity and human surface mobility.
Key Responsibilities- Assess system level architectures and perform trade study assessments to update recommended architectures.
- Review and provide input to system and sub-system level requirements.
- Develop verification and validation plans, including verification matrices and track items to completion.
- Perform requirements and interface management, including preparation of change requests and assessment of impacts.
- Provide written and oral statuses to represent the EHP at program and engineering boards.
- Work with team members to perform risk management, including identification, mitigation planning, and tracking.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering and a minimum of 2-5 years of experience in the field or a related area.
- Experience with the development of space systems requirements documents and verification plans.
- Knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures in the space hardware field.
- Ability to prepare written documents and to verbally present at various meetings.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited engineering school and a minimum of five (5) years of engineering experience within the systems engineering fields.
- Experience with NASA JSC Flight Hardware Life Cycle, Certification, and Engineering processes.
- INCOSE Systems Engineering Professional certification.
