Event Sales Manager Job Description

Foxhall Resort is seeking a highly skilled Event Sales Manager to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth in the wedding and social markets.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Solicit, negotiate, and book new event business through various sales approaches, including sales calls, telemarketing, and networking.
  • Work closely with the marketing team to promote Foxhall's event services and venues on relevant websites and respond to requests promptly.
  • Maintain strong relationships with potential and existing clients, providing personalized experiences tailored to their needs.
  • Book venues and catering services for social events and weddings, detailing all aspects of the function and/or guest room block.
  • Monitor customer preferences and trends in the wedding industry to develop an effective sales strategy.
  • Acquire and maintain a solid base of accounts, achieving the company's sales goals and budget.
  • Collaborate with the executive team to develop the annual budget and sales objectives for the property's wedding service.
Requirements:
  • 3+ years of hospitality sales experience in the Atlanta market and southeast U.S. region.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently or as a team, taking initiative and adapting to fast-paced and high-pressure environments.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
  • High level of flexibility regarding overtime during busy periods.
