We are seeking a highly skilled Facilities Maintenance Professional to join our team at Child Development Schools.

Job Summary:

This role will be responsible for providing preventive maintenance and repairs to our facilities, ensuring a safe and comfortable environment for our children and staff. The successful candidate will possess excellent technical skills, strong communication abilities, and a passion for maintaining exceptional standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance tasks to identify potential issues before they become major problems.
  • Carry out repairs and improvements to building interiors and exteriors, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and carpentry work.
  • Maintain accurate records of work completed and materials used.
  • Collaborate with the Facilities Manager to ensure seamless delivery of maintenance services.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers to secure competitive pricing and efficient service delivery.
  • Conduct safety and security inspections of playgrounds and property to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

Requirements:

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in multi-unit maintenance, preferably in an educational setting.
  • Strong technical skills, including knowledge of building systems, tools, and equipment.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • A valid driver's license and a clean driving record.

Salary and Benefits:

We offer a competitive salary range of $55,000 - $65,000 per annum, depending on experience. Additionally, you will receive:
