Job Responsibilities and QualificationsAs a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), you will play a vital role in supporting the nursing staff with resident care, including lifting, turning, moving, positioning, and transporting residents as needed.
You will also assist residents with grooming, quality of life, and self-care, promoting their overall well-being and dignity.
To be successful in this role, you must have a current and valid nursing assistant certification in the State of Illinois, along with previous experience in skilled nursing, if possible.
No abuse records and the ability to read, write, understand, and follow written and oral directions are essential qualifications.
Furthermore, effective communication and teamwork skills are crucial in working collaboratively with residents and staff members.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist with lifting, turning, moving, positioning, and transporting residents.
- Support residents with grooming, quality of life, and self-care.
- Work under the guidance of the nursing staff to ensure comprehensive resident care.
- Maintain accurate charts and records in a timely manner.
