Hotel Housekeeper Job Description

  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of guest rooms, hallways, and public areas in accordance with hotel standards.
  • Clean and restock guest rooms, including replenishing supplies and linens.
  • Conduct 'deep cleaning' activities within guest rooms, including tasks such as changing air filters and painting walls.
  • Comply with company policies and procedures, and ensure a safe and efficient work environment.

Responsibilities and Qualifications:

  • Demonstrate strong attention to detail and ability to communicate effectively with guests and colleagues.
  • Evaluate and select among alternative courses of action quickly and accurately.
  • Work well in stressful situations and maintain a professional demeanor.
  • High school diploma or equivalent, and/or experience in a hotel or related field preferred.
