Nurse Aide Trainee

Are you interested in a career in nursing but lack the experience or certifications needed? Consider joining Bridgepointe at Ashgrove Woods as a Nurse Aide Trainee. We will provide you with comprehensive training, at no cost to you, to become a certified State Registered Nurse Aide (SRNA) in the state of Kentucky.

As a Nurse Aide Trainee, you can expect:

• A comprehensive, paid training program that includes 75 hours of online or classroom instruction, hands-on clinical training, job mentoring, and preparation for the Kentucky Board of Nursing Competency Evaluation Examination.
• A supportive environment that encourages independence, socialization, and advocacy for the quality of life of our residents.
• The opportunity to contribute to resident quality of life through individualized caregiving and attention to resident needs.

After completing our training program, you will be well-prepared to take the State Competency Evaluation Examination with the Kentucky Board of Nursing. We will also cover the cost of the examination.

As a certified CNA, you can expect to:

• Contribute to resident quality of life through individualized caregiving and attention to resident needs.
• Communicate valuable input to the resident care plan process by being knowledgeable of and understanding resident care needs.
• Promote independence, encourage socialization, and advocate for the quality of life of our residents in a manner that enhances their well-being.
• Serve as a valuable resource to residents, families, visitors, and staff.

Must be eligible to enter an approved Nurse Aide Training Program and will be required to pass a state-approved competency evaluation within 120 days from the date of hire.
