Compensation Overview

The estimated annual base salary range for this role is $106,300 - $175,400 nationwide, considering factors such as location, scope, complexity, and candidate qualifications. Employees are also eligible for performance-based cash incentive awards as part of our comprehensive compensation and benefits program.

Job Summary

We seek an Account Executive Officer (AEO) for our Commercial Accounts division. This position involves collaborating with agents and brokers to provide property, general liability, commercial auto, and workers' compensation coverage to mid-size businesses. The AEO will be responsible for managing profitability, growth, and retention of an assigned book of business, underwriting and negotiating complex customer accounts, and fostering relationships with internal and external partners.

Requirements and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • A Bachelor's degree
  • Six to eight years of relevant underwriting experience with experience in commercial lines
  • In-depth knowledge of commercial lines products, regulatory environment, and local insurance market
  • Strong critical thinking skills with ability to identify challenges and analyze information to make timely decisions
  • Excellent communication skills with ability to negotiate in difficult situations
  • CPCU designation
  • Four years of underwriting experience (preferred)
