About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Nursing Educator to join our team at Dalton State College. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about teaching and mentoring students in the field of nursing.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching undergraduate nursing courses, including classroom lectures, skills labs, and clinical instruction. The ideal candidate will have experience in nursing education and be able to create engaging and interactive learning experiences for students.

Responsibilities

  • Teach nursing courses, including classroom lectures, skills labs, and clinical instruction
  • Develop and implement curriculum that aligns with college and accrediting agency standards
  • Mentor and advise students in their academic and professional development
  • Participate in departmental and institutional committees as assigned
  • Stay current with best practices in nursing education and incorporate new ideas into the curriculum

Requirements

  • Masters or Doctoral degree in Nursing (MSN or PhD) required
  • Current RN license in the state of Georgia
  • A minimum of two years of experience in nursing education
  • Experience in teaching undergraduate nursing courses
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
