Leasing Consultant

Elmington Property Management is seeking a skilled Leasing Consultant to join their team in Laurel, MS. As a Leasing Consultant, you will be responsible for supervising the leasing process, communicating with prospective and current tenants, and managing the community's reputation.

A Day in the Elmington Life:

As a Leasing Consultant, you will be responsible for:

• Effectively managing the community's reputation via social media, direct communication, and marketing.
• Being the primary communicator to prospects, residents, vendors, and your market.
• Constantly learning and searching for ways to improve traffic, leasing, and total income.
• Thinking creatively and conceptualizing new ideas to improve the business.
• Working with passion and taking pride in what you do.
• Being an effective listener who offers helpful solutions.

The Essentials:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• A minimum of 1 year of multi-family property management experience.
• Professional verbal and written communication skills.
• Administrative and organizational tasks.
• Presentation of a professional image.
• Customer service focus.
• Operating computers and other technological devices to access email, internet websites for business marketing, and company-utilized software.
• Preparing, locating, and compiling information and documents.
• Responding to issues outside of normal work schedule when required.
• Thriving in a team environment.
• Will to develop and learn.
