Job Description

As a Senior Cybersecurity Governance Specialist, you will play a crucial role in identifying, assessing, and prioritizing security risks across the organization, including Engineering and Security teams. You will be responsible for developing and communicating effective risk mitigation strategies, staying up-to-date on regulatory requirements, and facilitating collaboration between IT, Engineering, People, Legal, and other stakeholders.

Responsibilities
  1. Develop and implement a comprehensive security risk management methodology to enhance the organization's security posture
  2. Identify, assess, and prioritize security risks across different areas of the Security and Engineering organization
  3. Orchestrate security risk assessments at both macro and micro levels
  4. Develop and communicate risk assessment and treatment strategies to stakeholders and decision-makers
  5. Stay updated on regulatory requirements and industry best practices
  6. Facilitate collaboration between IT, Engineering, People, Legal, and other stakeholders to address security risks effectively
Requirements
  • Minimum of 12 years of experience in security risk management, vendor risk assessment, or a related field
  • 4 years of experience in a Management consulting firm, ideally from a Big 4 consulting firm
  • Experience in analyzing, assessing risk, and drawing insights from available data sources
  • Ability to develop and communicate risk mitigation strategies effectively
  • Proven ability to facilitate effective collaboration between technical and non-technical teams/stakeholders
Benefits
  • Estimated salary range: $144,000-$203,000 annually, based on location and qualifications
