Vehicle Maintenance Technician Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled Vehicle Maintenance Technician to join our team at Penske, a leading transportation provider. As a critical member of our maintenance crew, you will play a key role in ensuring the safety and reliability of our fleet.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on diesel engines, brakes, suspension, steering systems, and other components to ensure vehicles operate efficiently and safely.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with complex vehicle systems using advanced diagnostic tools and techniques.
  • Perform preventative maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake pad replacements.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience in a mechanical or automotive environment.
  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a fast-paced industry setting.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to obtain commercial driver's license (CDL) within the required timeframe.
Compensation and Benefits:
  • $65,000-$85,000 annual salary, depending on experience.
  • Overtime pay for additional hours worked beyond the standard 40-hour workweek.
