Job Description

This role involves selling Johnson Controls' building automation solutions to mechanical contractors, designers, and consulting engineers. You will promote our value proposition to the construction community, providing business and technical solutions that meet their needs. Your goal will be to build long-term relationships with customers, ensuring their satisfaction and loyalty.

Your Responsibilities:
  • Sell Johnson Controls' building automation solutions persuasively, persistently, and confidently to all members of the construction community.
  • Manage multiple ongoing opportunities, including selling, renewing, and expanding renewable service agreements.
  • Build partnering relationships with contractors, consultants, and designers to drive the sale of Johnson Controls' offerings.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of eight years of successful field sales experience, with at least three years in the HVAC or building automation system industry.
  • Excellent initiative and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated commitment to integrity and quality in business.
What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary range of $93,600 - $125,000, depending on your education, experience, and skills. This role also includes a comprehensive benefits package, including a competitive sales commission plan, which will take into account project, quarterly, and annual margin.
