About the Role

Balfour Beatty is seeking a highly skilled Senior Marketing Project Lead to join our team. As a key member of our marketing department, you will be responsible for managing and coordinating marketing and communications projects, including proposals, presentations, advertising, and events.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Marketing Manager or Director with department administration activities, including workflow and process management, delegating responsibilities among team members, and ensuring consistency in messaging.
  • Lead the preparation of responses to requests for proposals, qualifications, and other information required, including developing schedules, plans, and strategies.
  • Assist with responses to requests for proposals, qualifications, and other information required, and ensure adherence to company policies and brand guidelines.
  • Work with executives and business unit leaders to support the company's visibility in target markets and contribute to the strategic planning process.
  • Manage budgets and financial accountability for projects as assigned, and improve and refine boilerplate proposal information and presentations on a continual basis.
  • Coordinate with the team to ensure efficiencies in sharing and archiving resumes, proposals, presentations, boilerplate, graphics, debriefs, and other relevant materials.
  • Assist with presentation strategies and establish and maintain relationships with outside vendors, including photographers, design consultants, printers, and suppliers.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with owner and design team partners in pursuing projects, responding to client requests, and coordinating events.
  • Lead internal and external communications projects, including awards nominations, new people announcements, newsletters, website updates, and direct mail campaigns.
  • Coordinate photo shoots and actively participate in industry associations to professionally represent and promote Balfour Beatty.
  • Provide training and guidance to marketing coordinators and senior marketing coordinators, and participate in Vision updates and maintenance.
  • Build effective relationships with customers, design teams, subcontractors, suppliers, and user groups that reflect and support company core values and meet or exceed customer expectations.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, technical writing, or a related field.
  • 6 years or more of marketing experience.
  • Proficiency in using a personal computer (PC) and company communication tools, including email, the internet, and Microsoft products (e.g., Word, Excel, Office, Outlook).
  • Experience creating construction industry RFP responses and presentations.
  • Experience with social media outlets, including LinkedIn, Twitter, and Facebook.
  • Adobe CC proficiency, especially InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
  • Experience maintaining database information.
Preferred Experience
  • Current or previous A/E/C industry marketing experience.
  • Ability to collaborate and work independently and drive to be a positive team member.
  • Very strong writing, editing, and communication skills.
  • Ability to maximize sponsorship/event exposure.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
