Opportunity Overview

Atrium Health Infectious Disease Kenilworth, based in Charlotte, NC, is seeking a full-time transplant infectious disease physician to provide comprehensive care for hematologic and solid organ patients.

This role presents a unique opportunity to join a well-established program with active bone marrow, heart, kidney, and liver transplant programs.

About the Position
  • Inpatient coverage at a single facility with opportunities for outpatient clinics at affiliated Levine Cancer Institute and ID clinics.
  • Collaborate with transplant teams and develop strong relationships with other providers to ensure high-quality patient outcomes.
Highlights of the Role
  • Call average: 1:7
  • 15 cases per day on average
  • Administrative duties with potential for research opportunities (desired)
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Board certification or eligibility in Infectious Disease
  • Special training in Transplant Infectious Disease
  • North Carolina medical license required
  • New graduates with ID fellowship consideration welcome
