Trucking Logistics Specialist

We are seeking a skilled CDL A Delivery Truck Driver to join our team at US Foods, Inc.
About the RoleThis position involves safely transporting food products to customers while ensuring timely deliveries. You will be responsible for:
- Safely driving trucks to customers and meeting scheduled delivery times
- Carefully unloading products from the trailer using a two-wheeler, pallet jack, or by hand, and placing them in designated customer storage areas
- Verifying accuracy of delivery with customers and obtaining proper signatures
- Handling collections and payments from customers when applicable
You will work closely with our team to ensure seamless logistics operations and provide excellent customer service.
Required Skills and QualificationsTo succeed in this role, you must have:
- A valid CDL Class A issued by the state of legal residence with necessary endorsements and DOT qualifications
- A minimum of six months commercial driving experience (any industry) or three months commercial driving experience in the food and/or beverage delivery industry
- Ability to read and communicate in English
Your physical stamina will also be put to the test as you lift/carry/push/pull 20 to 80+ pounds of product repetitively during each shift.

The estimated base rate for this role is between $28.40 and $32.40 per hour, with opportunities for overtime compensation. Additionally, you will receive a retention bonus.
