Physics Instructor

Are you passionate about teaching physics to the next generation of scholars? Lee College is seeking an adjunct physics instructor to join our faculty team. As a part-time lecturer, you will have the opportunity to inspire and educate students in a dynamic and supportive environment.

This is a part-time, adjunct faculty position teaching freshman and sophomore-level physics courses at Lee College. The ideal candidate will have a Master's (or higher) degree in the teaching field or a Master's (or higher) degree with 18 graduate hours in the teaching field.

As an adjunct physics instructor at Lee College, you can expect a competitive salary ranging from $45,000 to $60,000 per year, depending on your qualifications and experience. This salary estimate takes into account the cost of living in the area and the level of expertise required for this role.

The successful candidate will be committed to student learning, integrating technology into the curriculum, and encouraging engaged scholars. They will also maintain accurate student accounting records, submit required student reports, and provide counsel/guidance to students when needed.

• Masters (or higher) degree in the teaching field or Masters (or higher) degree with 18 graduate hours in the teaching field
• Prior online teaching experience and certification
• Blackboard Learning Management System experience
