Senior Territory Manager

As a Senior Territory Manager at Thorlabs, you will play a key role in driving business growth and expanding our market presence. This position combines strategic thinking with strong interpersonal skills, enabling you to build lasting relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies that meet customer needs and drive revenue growth. Key responsibilities include:
- Identifying new business opportunities and representing Thorlabs' product portfolio to customers.
- Qualifying customer technical requirements and collaborating with internal teams to deliver customized solutions.
- Managing key accounts and providing exceptional customer service to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Working closely with internal teams to provide customers with tailored solutions.
- Providing sales forecasts and market insights to inform business decisions.
- Traveling regularly to customer facilities and industry trade shows to build relationships and stay up-to-date on market trends.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A minimum of 3+ years of experience in technical sales and/or key account management.
- A Bachelor's degree in a Photonics-related field or equivalent experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Dynamics, CRM, and Microsoft Office.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and attention to detail skills.
