Job OverviewRestaurant Depot, a leading national wholesale restaurant supplier, is seeking an experienced Assistant Manager to join our team at our Houston, TX warehouse facility. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3-5 years' experience in a similar level capacity in a high-volume distribution center. Key responsibilities include managing a large staff (50+), overseeing inventory control, and ensuring excellent communication skills. Knowledge of P & L, budgeting, recruitment, and human resource-related issues is a plus. This is a refrigerated warehouse environment, and the successful candidate must be able to work in a cold environment throughout the day. Salary and benefits will be commensurate with experience, and a 401k plan is also offered.
