HR Process Specialist with Workday Expertise

Job Summary:
This HR Process Specialist position requires an individual to assist HR Partners and Managers with completion of HR-related transactions/business processes in Workday, including Hires, Job Changes, and Terminations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist employees with the use of self-service functionality within Workday, providing Level 1 troubleshooting for transaction/business process issues
- Provide Level 1 system and process support for Guardian I-9 system, ensuring accurate employee data entry and compliance
- Administer HR programs such as tuition reimbursement, adoption assistance, and military leave, maintaining integrity of employee records and Workday data through regular audit reports
- Process hourly US payroll weekly, identifying areas for improvement and implementing ongoing process enhancements
- Work collaboratively within a team to share ideas, ownership, and accountability for driving improvements and consistency of execution for key HR processes
- Participate in scheduled and ad hoc training to improve policy and process acumen, staying up-to-date on industry best practices
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in applicable field preferred; high school diploma plus 3 years+ experience in HR-related field required
- Experience with Workday or other HRIS systems a plus; analytical aptitude and strong troubleshooting skills essential
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information, work in a change-filled environment, and manage multiple tasks with frequent interruptions
- Proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.); willingness to work in a team environment
- Self-motivated and independent problem-solving ability; Spanish speaking skills desired
- Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills; excellent telephone manner and customer service skills
Compensation:
The annual salary range for this position is $48,000-$64,000, commensurate with relevant experience/level and skillset.
