Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Licensed Optician to join our team. As a Licensed Optician, you will play a key role in connecting customers to our brand through exceptional customer service, product knowledge, and optical expertise.

You will be responsible for consistently achieving sales and productivity goals, creating brand-enhancing customer experiences, and demonstrating expert product knowledge. Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide exceptional customer service and ensure a positive customer experience.
  • Utilize product knowledge and styling training to demonstrate expert styling behaviors and identify customer needs.
  • Conduct fitting, adjustment, optical measurements, and repair services on eyewear.
  • Contribute to the store's overall visual presentation and merchandising.
  • Maintain the entire store's cleanliness and organization.
  • Perform tasks as assigned by management with efficiency and accuracy.
  • Follow all loss prevention and safety protocols to minimize loss.
  • Stay up-to-date and adhere to all company policies and procedures.

Requirements:
  • ABO-certification and state optician licensure in states requiring a license.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent experience.
  • 1+ years of retail sales experience within a specialty, fashion, or customer-centric environment.
  • Optical dispensing experience and knowledge of current optical theory and practices.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
