Job Title: Ultrasound Technologist

Planet Healthcare is seeking a skilled Ultrasound Technologist to join our team for a travel assignment in Taos, New Mexico.

Job Summary

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Ultrasound Technologist to work with our clients in Taos, New Mexico. As an Ultrasound Technologist, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic ultrasound procedures and providing high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities
  • Perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures using various modalities
  • Prepare patients for procedures, including explaining the process and positioning them correctly
  • Operate ultrasound equipment to capture high-quality images and videos
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses
  • Maintain accurate records of patient information and procedure results
Requirements
  • Current certification as an Ultrasound Technologist
  • Experience working in a healthcare setting, preferably in a diagnostic imaging department
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Flexibility to work varying shifts, including days, evenings, and weekends
